Meet Jackie
Jackie is the Proprietor and Principal Therapist at ebody the “Main Lady” she kind of does everything needed to ensure our clients have an incredible experience from the moment they walk into the salon until they leave again, making time stand still for them while they are with us.
Jackie has quite a star-studded work history, in her early years she was a beauty therapist to Ireland’s elite sport stars and famous entertainers. And although she can’t reveal names(due to a strict non-disclosure agreement ). She did tell us that they have just the same beauty dilemmas as us mere mortals, and they are all total DIVAS!!!
Jackie has quite mistakenly been described as a “freak”. I mean just because she is absolutely obsessed with squeezing out clogged pores doesn’t make her a freak – RIGHT . In her defence she has us all addicted to watching Dr. Pimple Popper – go on check it out… if you dare!
Jackie is brave enough to admit that her favourite movie is Dirty Dancing, she has a closet fascination with the drop dead gorgeous Patrick Swayze – OK who hasn’t got an obsession with that man I mean have you seen him dance??? Also if you catch her on a good day and if she is feeling very brave she might just demonstrate her party trick for you- “Cecil is a Caterpillar”… Enough said because you have to see it to believe it !!!
Amy
Amy is ebody’s resident nail guru, her composed zen like perfectionist tendencies shine through the work of art she produces on fingertips.
She is also well known for using her own fingertips to keep up to date with the latest phone apps She swears she could not live without Instagram to keep up to date with everything, Netflix to binge watch the latest series and WhatsApp to keep up with all the gossip.
As Amy’s loooong suffering work mates we have learned to love her endearing OCD tendencies of obsessively organising, and reorganising Everything – no we do love you Amy and all your neurotic tendencies
However, clients really do love Amy’s perfectionist tendencies, from the care she takes in every detail of shaping a brow, to painting a nail, they really feel the love and passion she has for her job and constantly remark on how spoiled they feel after their treatment.
Amy’s only downfall is her love of reality TV – REALLY AMY?? HOW COULD YOU. Although I have to admit a LOT of ebody’s clients seem to share her guilty pleasure and Amy loves nothing more than in depth conversations with her clients about Love Island or how unfair the judges were on Dancing with the stars.
Jen
Jen’s hidden obsession has become slowly apparent over the 6 years she has been part of ebody. From Disney memorabilia, Belle lunch boxes to Olaf impersonations it was hard for her to hide her fixation with all things Disney. She often entertains us with her complete repertoire of Disney songs and has been known to challenge some of our younger clients to a sing off .. which she often wins! Next time you’re in for a treatment ask Jen to sing a song from her favourite movie – Beauty and the Beast – of course.
However, as we got to know Jen her bubbly personality overcame her quirky Disney obsession and she is now best known as our very own “queen of the meme”- check out our quote board for some of her best work!!!
Jen’s warm and relaxed engaging personality is a huge hit with all of her clients and fits in well with the ambience ebody is known for. Oh and of course she is also one of Gorey’s best beauty therapist’s with a real passion for Shellac nails.
Jen’s dedication to continual professional development, learning about cutting edge treatments and industry advancements is rivalled only by her dedication to putting up with Jackie over the last 6 years – “it’s a hard job but somebody’s got to do it”
Chloie
Chloie is the newest member to the ebody family. But with more than 6 years experience working in both salons and spas she is definitely the only contender for the “Magic Hands” title here at ebody. Her massages are “to die for”(actual quote from a client )
So what is the secret of this “masseuse extraordinaire”?? – she is double jointed so her hands move in ways that they probably aren’t supposed to and she swears that is what brings the extra magic to her work.
But amazingly Chloie’s extraordinary hands are not her only Super Hero gift, she can also see into the future and is confident she will one day win the Euro Millions, although for now she is quite happy working at ebody – watch this space! And if you’re lucky she just might tell you your fortune as she tints your eyelashes or waxes your legs
Chloie is quickly creating her very own fan base right here at ebody as she is inundated with bookings for her heavenly massages. Chloies is best known for her signature treatment Hot Stone Back Massage. Seriously, life is too short to miss out on this experience!
